About: Natalie Schaworonkow
I am a neuroscientist investigating the spatiotemporal dynamics of EEG, MEG, ECoG, and LFP data, currently working with David Poeppel. My stay at the Ernst Strüngmann Institute was funded by a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship.
Prior to this, I worked as a postdoc at the University of California, San Diego, where I focused on signal processing methods for neural oscillations. I hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Goethe University Frankfurt, where my doctoral research centered on closed-loop brain-state-triggered transcranial magnetic stimulation combined with EEG. My work focuses on improving methods for analyzing electrophysiological activity and understanding the role of neural oscillations in perception.
