how does IRASA work?

IRASA is a method for separating 1/f & oscillatory parts in power spectra. timeseries are up- and downsampled with non-integer sampling rates. resulting PSDs are then averaged across different rates, which leads to dispersion of oscillatory peaks (to some extent). pic.twitter.com/PVDLBsncF6
